Edinburgh by Minibus
Edinburgh by minibus: a panoramic tour of Scotland’s capital with a local historian guide
Our private panoramic tour of Edinburgh links the city’s main attractions in a dynamic way, making it easy to reach sights and historic places further afield. We make strategic stops so your group can explore on foot — always with an experienced local historian guide — the parts of Edinburgh that vehicles cannot reach. These stops are planned around the group’s profile and interests, for a rich, personalised, comfortable and well-organised experience. Our mission is to make the history of Edinburgh accessible, engaging and captivating for everyone.
We will show your group the Old Town and its famous Royal Mile, with sights such as the imposing Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, St Giles’ Cathedral and the Scottish Parliament. We will also drive through the New Town, where the group will see the First Minister of Scotland’s official residence, the elegance of 18th-century Georgian architecture, its private gardens and its deep connection with the Scottish Enlightenment.
If you would like to see even more, we can extend the tour to include a relaxing walk through Dean Village and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, as well as visits to museums and historic attractions. It is also possible to visit the former royal yacht, the Royal Yacht Britannia, or head to the Firth of Forth to admire its three famous bridges, including the iconic Forth Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
